Experience
Design Academy - New York, New York, United States
At Design Academy I shaped learning products used by students and instructors across web and mobile. My work covered discovery interviews, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and iterative prototyping with a strong accessibility bar (WCAG-minded color, focus order, and plain-language microcopy). I partnered with product managers and engineers to ship polished flows for onboarding, assignment review, and portfolio critique. Weekly usability sessions with learners informed information architecture changes that reduced drop-off in the first-week checklist. I also maintained a shared Figma library so multiple cohorts of student designers could extend patterns without reinventing components. Beyond screens, I wrote critique notes, recorded short walkthroughs for handoff, and co-facilitated design reviews so stakeholders could decide quickly. The role strengthened how I balance craft with facilitation—keeping visual quality high while still moving tickets through a realistic sprint cadence.
Find Me - Elmont, New York, United States
At Find Me I lead product design for identity and portfolio experiences—from discovery workshops through high-fidelity prototypes, motion specs, and usability testing. I own flows for live identity cards, share links, template galleries, and student-facing previews that need to feel production-ready even in demo mode. Day to day I frame problem statements with PMs, map edge cases with engineering, and document theme tokens so Cloud and Standard templates stay visually aligned. Recent work includes tilt and scan states for the identity card, clearer empty states in the builder, and a handoff package that cut design QA cycles on responsive layouts. I measure success by time-to-publish for new users, accessibility checks passed, and how little support has to explain the product. I also mentor contractors on critique rituals and keep a living decision log so future designers can extend the system without guessing why a pattern exists.
